Authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained from all participants, or from their legal guardians where applicable. Studies involving animals must comply with internationally accepted standards for animal welfare and ethical treatment. Authors should indicate that experiments were conducted in accordance with relevant institutional, national, and international guidelines and that approval was obtained from the appropriate animal ethics committee or regulatory authority.

Authors are required to provide details of ethical approvals, approval numbers (where available), and consent procedures within the manuscript. The Editorial Office reserves the right to request supporting documentation related to ethical approval and informed consent at any stage of the editorial process.

Imagen Diagnóstica reserves the right to reject any manuscript that fails to comply with recognized ethical standards, lacks appropriate ethical approval, or raises concerns regarding the protection of human participants, animal welfare, or research integrity. Cases involving suspected ethical misconduct will be handled in accordance with COPE guidance and established publication ethics procedures.
