Preservation Policy

Imagen Diagnóstica is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content. The journal implements multiple digital preservation strategies to guarantee permanent access to published articles and associated research materials.

Each published article is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to provide a persistent and reliable link to the scholarly record. Final published versions are preserved in standardized digital formats, including PDF and XML, to facilitate long-term accessibility, interoperability, indexing, and archiving.

The journal maintains secure backups of all published content and stores files in secure digital repositories and archival systems designed to ensure continued availability in the event of technical failures, data loss, or website disruptions. In addition, journal content may be preserved through recognized web archiving services, including Internet Archive (Archive.org), to enhance redundancy and safeguard the scholarly record.

Imagen Diagnóstica is committed to maintaining the permanence, authenticity, and discoverability of its publications through sustainable preservation practices, ensuring that research remains accessible to the scientific community and the public for the foreseeable future.
